The Shape of Dreams, Wallace Gallery Virtual, 25-30 May, 2019

A series of paintings created in March and April of 2020, before and during the first COVID19 lockdown in New Zealand.

 

These works are an exploration of imaginary and invented worlds that may trigger sensations of longing, wonder and awe. They pose questions such as "what is real?”, “what is imaginary?" and “how can painting create a parallel world to the world we live in?”.
