Painting: Disrupted, ArtHaus Contemporary, March 2022
In 2022 painting is disrupted, and painting continues to disrupt.
Here four painters bring together material, gestural, geometric and optical renditions of the disruptive power of painting. The disruption affects the picture surface, the scale and perspective, as well as the ideas around the homogeneity & predictability of our pre-packed, prescribed realities and the material conditions of being.
Painting is here to disrupt, not soothe or pamper.

Painting: Disrupted is a group show with the following participating artists: Inga Fillary, Ekaterina Dimieva, Trevor Newman, Bonco

Curated by Ekaterina Dimieva.
